"my layout is St Dennis L.P.S. , this is one of three locations on the layout, the others being :-- Loughthatch Junct & Cadwell Lane High level, St Dennis being the main preservation centre & the other two are current operational, all are modelled "present day", the entire layout, including St Dennis is fully O/Head electrified & all electric loco's in my fleet run off the O/Heads fed by Relco,s, which makes for some very realistic "pan-flash" effects, it is fictional & based south west of Sheffield, it has very strong connections with both coal & steel, has it's own small but highly produtive coliery & a still active, "deep navigation" canal running through it, which amongst other cargo's, takes the coal produced in the mine to a local power station, Gables yard is the small but busy "sorting" yard for Loughthatch Junct, which in turn is the main intermodal / liner depot, adjacent to which is Loughthatch loco depot this is made up of a recently opened electric loco servicing shed, a steam & diesel fueling point & an the original, still used steam depot turntable, all locations are linked by single lines, all trains are "diagrammed" & run to a timetable."
